Books are dispatched within 2–3 working days of payment. Within Luxembourg and the EU: shipped via Post Luxembourg or equivalent national service, typically arriving in 2–7 working days. Tracking provided where available. Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout. Outside the EU: shipping is available — please email before purchasing for a quote. International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes which are the buyer's responsibility. Risk of loss or damage transfers to you on delivery.

Right of withdrawal — 14 days Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the Luxembourg Consumer Code, you have 14 days from the day you receive the book to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send a clear statement of your decision (for example, by email) before the 14-day period expires. You may use the model form below. If you withdraw, I will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and within 14 days from the day I am informed of your decision. I may withhold the refund until I have received the book back. The refund will be made using the same means of payment as the original transaction. You must return the book without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of return shipping. The book must be returned in the condition received. Damaged or not as described If the book arrives damaged in transit or differs significantly from its listing, contact me within 7 days of delivery. In that case I will refund the full price including the return shipping cost. Legal guarantee of conformity For secondhand goods sold to consumers, the legal guarantee of conformity is reduced to one (1) year per article L. 212-9 of the Luxembourg Consumer Code. 1. Scope These General Terms of Sale govern the sale of secondhand books offered on this website by Jérôme Camille Steimes ("the seller") to consumers ("the buyer"). Each book is described and photographed honestly. Minor signs of prior reading are normal in secondhand books and do not constitute defects. 2. Ordering Selecting "Buy" on a book and completing payment forms a binding sales contract. The seller will confirm the order by email. 3. Prices and payment Prices are shown in euros (€) and include any applicable VAT (super-reduced rate of 3% on printed books in Luxembourg, where applicable). Shipping costs are added at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe (or another payment method as offered). 4. Delivery Books are dispatched within 2–3 working days. Delivery times depend on destination — see the Shipping page. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer on delivery. 5. Right of withdrawal The buyer has 14 days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason — see the Refunds page for the full terms and the model withdrawal form. 6. Liability The seller's liability is limited to the price of the book. The seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. 8.
